Teaching

In addition to composing, Elena is active as a music educator. She has taught music theory and aural skills at CU Boulder for five semesters as a graduate teaching assistant. She also has experience teaching in summer high school programs, as a guest in middle and high school music classes, teaching private lessons in horn and piano, and tutoring a variety of subjects. She earned a Certificate in College Teaching through CU's Graduate Teacher Program.
